New flooring installed!

Now that the chaos of the holidays is over, we've had our flooring installed! This is the Alameda Hickory laminate by Trafficmaster that we got for $.49/sq ft during Black Friday at Home Depot! My stepdad came over and installed for me and I love this floor! He'll be back down in two weeks to finish the baseboards so note this isn't the finished job! 

Corkboard on sale!

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday expecting the largest corkboard I could find being a 2' x 3' board! So imagine my excitement when I found this monster sized corkboard and at a steal for $30!! 

(Kids already tried opening it lol)

 

The plan is to paint the frame white and hang behind our couch! I'm going to put family pics on it, quotes, pretty prints etc. and hang twinkle lights over it! I've been at a loss as what to put behind the couch so far so I'm pretty stoked about this idea! Would have spray painted it today but it's rainy & humid!

Black Friday flooring bargain!!

I'm finally getting around to showing off my new laminate flooring for the living room! Not installed yet though! Stepdad is going to do it after Christmas! I got this flooring for an amazing $.49/sq ft during Black Friday at Home Depot! I had read tons of reviews on this and seen that most people had bought during last years Black Friday! It's Alameda Hickory by Trafficmaster!
